One of the most emotional moments in the Simpsons. This part always makes me cry like a baby, especially Marge’s speech at the end.
I identify quite a bit with Lisa-centric episodes.
FEELINGS
It was amazing that a parent admits to giving the wrong advice. It was really not the norm for TV of the period.
YES and she APOLOGIZES to lisa. oh my god, to see a parent on TV apologizing to their child was mindblowing to me. the simpsons and roseanne, man.
