Standout Character: Sideshow Bob. Purely for his characterisation. Kelsey Grammer takes it to a whole other level. It’s a pleasure to watch and appreciate the quality.
Standout Quote: “Oh, gee, a joke. Umm… Ummm… Uh, funny, uh, ok. Uh, this guy walks into a bar and takes out a tiny piano and a twelve-inch pianist. Oh hoho, no, wait! I can’t tell that one! Ooh!” - Krusty at the wedding reception.
Comments: The colours, man! The animation in turns of colour and camera angles is out of this world and beyond its time, circa 1992 I think? Insane. I love the mystery plot thingy and the fact that you have to pay attention to what Bart is seeing and hearing. Chief Wiggum is satisfyingly piggish and stupid. Patty and Selma are not only tolerable but rather enjoyable, a lot more so than I usually find them. But seriously, animation is stupendous.
